From the reviews

As a teenager who has been dancing here for the past 11+ years, this studio and the people in it has had a large impact on my life. LPA has truly become like a second home to me where I have met some of my closest friends and really inspiring teachers.

★★★★★ — Alyssa, Jun 2023

LPA has the best teachers and staff here. They provide a lot of activities to encourage students to have a good time here. They have a great environment here. The studio provides the students team work bonding activities as well as opportunities to build self-esteem and courage.

★★★★★ — Helen, May 2019

The studio is very welcoming and all the teachers are very experienced and skill. There are many types of dances taught here such as jazz, lyrical , contemporary, ballet, chinese, K-POP, etc. There's always a showcase every year in May where the students get to show off the dance they've been working on.

★★★★★ — Joanna, Mar 2023

I believe this is Fremont's best dance school. The teachers are very professional and take care into each student. My daughter came here when she was 3.5 years old and has learn for 5 years now. She really loves this school and all of her teachers and has a great time making friends here.

Your first ballet class at Lisa Performing Arts

Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Ballet is for every age and every body. If you're returning from an injury or have a health concern, mention it to the teacher before class so they can offer modifications.
