The programs they offer
From the reviews
Martin is an exceptionally knowledgeable and talented dancer. He is equally as remarkable as an instructor. It’s rare to find someone who is so skilled as both a dancer and a teacher. It is also rare to find a true expert like Martin who also happens to be kind, personable, and genuine.
As a late learner in dance, I am grateful for the patience and support I receive from Martin, Holly and Dee, as well as my fellow dance class group. I've become comfortable, and now learning several different dances. It is amazing the plethora of different styles taught by an instructor who has danced in competitions.
Martin is an exceptional teacher, open to all questions and knowledgable in his skill not only his experience. Holly and Martin are an exceptional team together. What they offer in dance for children and couples/individuals/group classes is excellent.
Your first ballet class at M Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
