The programs they offer
“I think I’ll try one on one teaching from now on Instead of rotating with other students once I relocate back to Northern California.”
What families & students say
“She’s going to be a great instructor one day whenever she takes over that studio because she has the right energy and personality for it.”
“Not everyone gives great energy rotating and some women can be lackluster or boring and just not warm welcoming even some of the women whom work there.”
“All of the instructors here are top-tier, but my favorites are Biggie, Natalia, Alek, and Mary—they’re incredibly talented, motivating, and genuinely supportive.”
“I definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to learn a new dance :) It's also really affordable which I greatly appreciate as a college student.”
From the reviews
I have been to many dance studios and dance venues throughout California. And I agree with many dance students, that this Dance studio is an impressive family of talented dance instructors. There is a solid core of dance core fundamentals that are emphasized with passion and dedication beyond the norm.
I had an amazing experience at Majesty in Motion Dance Studio! The Bachata lessons and teachers were my favorite. The instructors are not only skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and patient. They create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for learning.
Starting dancing is intimidating. At Majesty Instructors are very good at creating great vibes between people and add their different styles for you to pickup ideas. They have great deals so you can come literally every day as you want to build muscle memory.
The instruction, atmosphere, learning process is absolutely EXCELLENT! Regardless of your goals -- just want to dance the basic to advancing to perform on a team or even teach -- this is the place that will offer guidance and superb instruction and a fabulous, welcoming community.
Your first ballet class at Majesty in Motion Dance Studio Salsa and Bachata Lessons
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
