From the reviews
This dance studio is bringing 🔥 to the neighborhood, allowing all to be welcomed. Once you go there you will see they have classes for kids and adults. It's safe and fun and of course clean. Go there the prices are great and the people are even better.
I’m not even sure where to start. Miss.Cheryl is amazing!!! I have been taking my daughter to Miss.Cheryl’s yearly dance recitals for the last four years. Every year my daughter would ask me to join, however she just didn’t have enough courage to want to dance in front of others yet, due to her being extremely shy.
Mcdc is one of the best Dance studios I experienced so far. Miss Cheryl and her staff go above and beyond to make the students as well as the parents feel right at home. If your looking for a place where you can get the full experience of versitility DANCE LIFE has to offer MCDC is definately the place to be!!
Miss Cheryl is a very sweet dance instructor and business owner! People always seem to be lined up outside the dance studio to inquire about her services; she answers them very warmly every time! She is an asset to Staten Island and does much good in her community.
Your first ballet class at MCDC- Miss Cheryls Dance Company
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
