I can't say enough about Moore Than Dance. The owner, Angela, has a huge heart and truly cares about her students' well-being on and off the stage. For the past 9 years, Moore Than Dance has been my daughter's second home! The thing I love most, is the family like atmosphere, wholesome dance moves and costumes.
Love the Moore Than Dance studio! Ive got 2 little ones in the angelina ballerina class and they absolutely love it!! Angela (the teacher) is great with the kids and has a very upbeat and positive energy :) i def highly recommend this studio!! Give them a call and come join the MTD family!!
We love Moore than dance studio! All the teachers are very professional, they have an individual approach to each student. Besides a great variety of dance classes, the studio also has theater classes which are hard to find at this level. The professionalism of their shows will strike you.
We are new to Moore Than Dance and we already feel like family! I love how inviting everyone is, how organized they are, and how great they are with my kids! They are always so prompt in their communication and willing to answer my 47392 questions haha!
Your first ballet class at Moore Than Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
