We LOVE M.O.V.E.S dance academy!! My daughter started back in March, she enjoys coming to her class with Ms. Gee Gee! She’s so great with the kids. We had her in gymnastics before and she hated going but not here and now with the academy growing we’re also enrolling her into the ballet/Jazz as well.
Ms. Gee Gee is an amazing teacher with energy that fills the room and gets all the kids to engage with her. She has credentials like no other teachers in the area and her prices are beyond fair.

MOVES has been such an amazing experience! Gigi makes you feel like part of the family on day 1. My boys have loved learning hip hop dance and they have fun every step of the way! The teachers here at MOVES are always thinking of creative ways to keep the kids engaged! So glad we are a part of the MOVES family!
Your first ballet class at MOVES Space Collective
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
