This studio is one of the best Christian dance studios around. Every teacher loves each student and wants everyone to become their best selves. They teach with passion and poise and work their very best to give everyone a great experience. They are an absolutely wonderful studio and I highly recommend it.
NADC is a great dance studio. I highly recommend it. The teachers are focused on making sure the dancers have a amazing time and also make sure they learn. My experience here has been great and I hope I come here till the day I graduate. Every dance competition I've been to we've done very well.
Best dance studio around. They accept every child and make them feel welcome. My daughter is a plus size dancer and they have never made her feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. They believe everyone can dance and gives them every opportunity to do so.
NADC is the premier dance school in Huntsville. They are the best of both worlds - a competition school that is strong in the basics. After the first few years of basic classes, the kids have to audition to move up. Excellent use of costuming and props and FANTASTIC choreography.
Your first ballet class at North Alabama Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
