From the reviews
I am grateful to have seen the ballet, Romeo and Juliet at the Cleveland Public Theater last night. I loved it. The close view, looking down on the dancers gave appreciation of the skill, artistry of their work, but also for the strenuousness of their movement.
Saw their performance last night (9/03/21) in Cain Park Evan’s Amphitheater. It was delightful, even amusing (first few presentations), light-hearted, beautiful, and then, inspiring, passionate, chills inducing Awesome (Bolero), and overall Outstanding!!!
First of Mr. my life in Flux some underscores somewhere on IG simply amazing. If you want to you can learn life inclusive exercises to aid in healing through movement. The Cleveland Dance Movement whoa! This is amazing. Thank you Verb for hosting. Community classes are available, you can host a class also.
My cousin and I love going to see the Verb Ballet perform. Their shows are always affordable to get tickets to - and for exceptional quality! So far we have seen Shubert Melodies (2022) and Celebrations (2023) - both were beautiful and refreshing to watch!
Your first ballet class at Ohio Contemporary Ballet
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
