From the reviews
This is a studio for people of all ages. The adult classes have expanded so much in recent years and the community at the studio is wonderful. Would recommend for everyone, whether you're just starting ballet or if you're returning to ballet after years of not dancing.
I love this place. I had danced many years prior and this helped me catch up and love ballet more. I really recommend.
Miss Zachari creates a supportive community where every body can express themselves through ballet. We brought friends to the year end recital and not only did they appreciate the dancing and dancers, but they also commented that this clearly is a studio environment that makes the dancers feel safe and confident.
My daughter has been attending classes at Pas de Deux since she was 7. She attended for six years, took a few years off, tried another dance school (did not like) and now is back. We feel so welcomed and she is happy to be back. Miss Zachari is a wonderful teacher and very sweet!
Your first ballet class at Pas de Deux Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
