From the reviews
What a beautiful venue to see a show. I also learned about the cultural history of the area. Relatively small, infinite setting. Not a bad seat in the house. Tickets and concessions are very reasonably priced.
Always a great venue and has a wide range of productions from Theatre to wonderful symphonies and choral works. Lighting is fantastic here when the production uses to full potential. Seating is quite comfortable and almost every seat has a good view of the stage.
Always a pleasant time no matter what the performance. Staff are always smiling and helpful. Good sounds from whatever you are sitting. An additional bonus is there's always art work being displayed along the walls in conjunction with the Southern Allegheny Art museum.
Great place to watch a good show! Went and watched the Mountain Playhouse performance of "A Year With Frog And Toad." It was great! The facilities are always clean and look new and modern. Would definitely go back for another visit!
Your first ballet class at Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
