I don’t normally write reviews, but the training that I received from Passion Flux Dance had to be shared!! First off, I love that this is a small business that serves the community.
This is a great place to take your kids. Not only do they provide amazing dance training but your child is also getting mentorship, confidence, and leadership skills. Also they expose your kids to the professional dance world with monthly workshops. It’s a place where your kid can feel safe and learn a lot.
As a teacher, I can say that everything is very organized and well planned. The other teachers and staff are very friendly, professional, and above all else punctual. You can tell that everyone takes what they do seriously, furthermore wanting the best for all the students who go there.
This is such a great place to let go of what your feeling, all the negativity leaves to door when you step into this amazing place! everyone that comes in has so many different styles and we put that into the dance.
Your first ballet class at Passion Flux Dance Co.
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
