We are starting our 11th season with Perfect Pointe Productions. I can assure you that you will not find a more immersive and inclusive dance experience anywhere else. My daughter has learned “more than just dance” from Mrs. Kendall and her amazing staff of dance teachers.
Our family has been a part of this wonderful dance studio for 7 years. My granddaughter started in preschool taking classes and now is part of the dance team going on 3 years. We watched as Ms Kendall started her small business grow into the family friendly studio it is today.
We love Perfect Pointe Productions! This is my daughter’s third year in dance class, and she loves it! The teachers are professional, and super kind, especially with little ones. There is no competition or forcing the dancers to be someone or something they are not.
My daughter was part of their daycare programs and we have now moved to the studio for classes. It is a great arm and welcoming environment and my group of dance moms are lovely. The owners and teachers are living and knowledgeable.
Your first ballet class at Perfect Pointe Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
