From the reviews
I am literally blown away! We were looking for a new dance home young, experienced dancer; one who would nurture her talent as well as challenge her. From the very first interaction, this team has been welcoming. We’d tried 3 different studios in the past few weeks and my daughter just didn’t feel comfortable.
I’ve been at JDF for 9 years now, and I couldn’t see myself dancing anywhere else. The owner is original, super creative, and goes above and beyond for each and every one of her dancers. The instructors get to know all of their students and treat us all fairly.
I am impressed with the growth my daughter has shown as a dancer in the short time we have been with JDF Elite. The staff believed in her and poured into her and I am so grateful. Her confidence has skyrocketed and because of that, she has made friends with quite a few fellow dancers.
I've been dancing for 12 years but these past three years at JDF I have grown the most in my dancing! Everyone at the studio is like family, and is always so friendly! The studio has such a fun environment and I love it so much!
Your first ballet class at Prodigy 17 Dance Company
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
