The programs they offer
“Very patient with the little ones and they even have adult classes!”
“My daughter has been a student there practically since she was able to walk and over the years she has grown to really really love all types of dancing.”
What families & students say
“The instructors are amazing and almost right away you can see that they truly care about the kids both as students and as individuals.”
“This is my daughter's second year at Purely Dance. She loves going every week and loved the recital last year.”
“They have a family friendly environment and choose appropriate music and attire for all the dancers.”
“The only downside here would be at the recitals since it's owned by a husband and wife the shows usually begin with some light hearted dad jokes etc from the husband.”
“It is rare to find an affordable ballet and dance academy that holds to biblical values, and teaches our children to express themselves through dance in a pure way.”
From the reviews
Our family has been going to Purely Dance for years. We've been to other studios and experienced the down side of dance with favortism and dance politics. I was so happy to find an affordable studio that all 3 of my girls could learn multiple genres of dance.
I love this studio! My girls have danced here for 4 years. I love that my daughters are being taught proper dance technique and self respect. So grateful for teachers who value the girls and teach them they don't have to be sexy to be an amazing dancer.
My daughter has been dancing here for 2 years now. I have watched her grow so much as a dancer under the direction of the awesome teachers at Purely! We love the family atmosphere!
My daughter just recently started to attend class at Purely Dance. She has been dancing for years and was nervous to start at a new studio. She quickly got over those nerves as the environment is friendly and fun.
Adult ballet at Purely Dance LLC
Purely Dance LLC runs classes for grown-ups — confirmed on their own site. If you've never taken ballet, or you're coming back to it after years away, this is for you — and a good studio genuinely welcomes a nervous first-timer. A few things worth asking before you go. First, which class to start in — look for one labeled "absolute beginner" or "adult beginner" rather than an open or "all levels" class, so you learn the fundamentals at the right pace. Second, drop-in or term — many adult programs let you pay per class to try it, then move to a term or monthly package once you're hooked. Third, what to wear — comfortable clothes you can move in, plus socks or bare feet, are plenty for a first class; you won't need a leotard or ballet shoes to walk in the door. It's never too late for first position.
Your first ballet class at Purely Dance LLC
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
