From the reviews
Both of my daughters have taken a variety of classes at Raddatz Dance Studio for the past 5 or 6 years. The staff is so welcoming to all families and they provide excellent communication about everything from class schedules, costumes, pictures, and recital logistics - they are on top of it!
We have 2 dancers attending Raddatz and are so happy we found this studio. After hopping around a few studios, this is the most welcoming and supportive place we've attended. From day 1 my children have felt as if they belonged, regardless of their abilities and have truly grown to love dance here.
We have been a dance family at Raddatz for 15yrs with 2 different kiddos. Our girls have loved it and so have we. A very positive and fun dance atmosphere. Knowing you can walk through the doors at drop off/pick up and get a smile from someone you know or a stranger says a lot about the studio.
Highly recommend this studio, kicking ourselves for waiting so long to get our kids into dance. They love it here! Lots of different class types and times available. Love their approach on teaching dance for beginners/kids new to dance. We felt very welcomed and are very happy!
Your first ballet class at Raddatz Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
