From the reviews
I have been with Raise the Barre Studio for 4 years. I am in the studio 3 to 5 days a week. I have never seen a roach or any other bug ever. This studio is clean and all staff are very professional. These people giving these reviews are straight up liars. Ms. Jaimie Walden is an amazing person, dancer, and instructor.
My 2 girls are on their 3rd year with Raise the Barre Dance Academy & absolutely love it there! There are so many classes to choose from & they have made so many friends with their fellow dancers & me as well w/ parents. It really has become like a 2nd family.
My granddaughter has been dancing here for 4 years. She loves all the instructors and we are all like a big family.. She has truly found what she loves to do and has surpassed expectations in such a short period of time. She has grown so much & this year will be her 1st year as a jr. instructor.
This is our first year and it has been a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to continue on our journey with them. If you are looking for a place for your children or yourself to learn and grow in dance this is the place to go.
Your first ballet class at Raise the Barre Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
