From the reviews
If you’re looking for a safe and fun studio to be a part of this is it. Reyana and her wonderful , friendly staff have been in my daughters life for almost 5 years! We couldn’t be happier at the production they put at the end of the season .
Reach for the Barres is not only a dance studio I danced at for 9 years, it was my second home… the place I graduated elementary, middle, and high school through, the place that taught me how to take responsibility and work with kids, and the place that I met some of my best and closest friends.
My niece loves this studio!!! Reyana and her staff are amazing with the kids. The shows they put on are so well organized and super fun - we look forward to them at the end of each season. My niece can't stop talking about how much she is learning. She has made so many new friends.
Best school ever! All teachers are talented and kind. My little one feels so happy there. We took mommy and me classes a year ago which was an amazing experience. And now my daughter continues dance classes here on her own. Can’t recommend enough this wonderful dance studio!
Your first ballet class at Reach For The Barres
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
