From the reviews
This venue has an awesome sound system. The staff are pleasant helpful in the parking lot, the entrance and with directions to your seat. I came during Christmas holiday to see the iconic, Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate NutCracker. Plenty of free parking. Clean bathrooms and comfortable seating.
It was beautiful they really did a good job and Redondo performing Art Center was clean, big , and the staff was professional and friendly. My friend lost her phone and they called right away to tell us to pick up . The show of course given by KJLH was good!!! Will be going to the next show
I have no complaints about my seat in Terrace 1 , to the right of the stage. I was able to see the performances without hindrances of heads in the way. This area has entry/exit aisles, making it easier to go out, as opposed to the lower seats that do not have aisles.
Went to see Momma Mia. Great performance. Free parking. Staff and volunteers were all very friendly. Soda, water and snacks were being sold. Just know that you are not allowed to eat or drink in side the theater venue. Medium size theater. Good seats wherever you sit, in my opinion. Normal restroom facilities.
Your first ballet class at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
