Relevé is a home aways from home.Since my daughter started there not knowing a thing about dance or anything dance related, Ms. Em and Ms. Pey have always made her feel like she belonged there and she had the gift of becoming a great dancer.
Peyton and Emilie are absolutely amazing dance teachers, but even more incredible women! They are kind, patient, compassionate, and make everyone that walks through their doors feel like family.
Our daughter has been with Releve since she was 3 years old. She absolutely loves it here! She learns dance in a non-competitive environment which allows her to make friends, enjoy dance, and build her skills without pressure.
My daughter started dance at Relevé at 18 months and she loves it. Miss Peyton and Miss Emilie are the best. At the first recital my daughter was just under 2 year old and did not want to go on stage. One year later, with the help of Miss Peyton and Miss Emilie wonderful teaching she danced center stage.
Your first ballet class at Relevé Studios
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
