From the reviews
We have been with Komotion Nation for 5 years and can't say enough great things about the program! All our girls look forward to dance every week, and the recitals at Spyglass are the absolute highlight. Their confidence has grown, and most importantly, they are having so much fun!
Hidi is a pillar of the community. He has brought so many different programs for everyone to Danville and the surrounding areas. He is so uplifting and supportive of everyone's fitness goals. I workout with Danielle during the 8:00 fitness classes and love them!
Yesterday I did the 8am Resurrection class and I had the best time! I am 28 weeks pregnant so not the ideal time to start a workout class, but talked to Danielle about how I could modify the exercises and she made everything very comfortable and do-able!
We have been with Komotion since the beginning. I couldn't imagine having the girls dance anywhere else. We've also used Resurrection and the Elevate programs. All the instructors/coaches/trainers are knowledgeable and helpful. This place is worth it!
Your first ballet class at Resurrection Movement Studio Inc./Komotion Dance Program
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
