From the reviews
Rising Stars is an amazing dance studio that easily turns into a family. They are taking precautions for Covid and kids are still allowed to dance with masks and social distancing. We are so happy to be a part of this amazing dance family <3
Ms. Kathy is wonderful and she works well with the students. She is very kind and compassionate. Our daughter really enjoyed the summer dance camp. We signed her up for Kinderstars and she really enjoys the tumbling, ballet, and tap.
Rising Stars is by far the best dance studio around. They offer many dance classes and have amazing staff. We switched to this dance studio about 2 years ago from another studio and they have treated not only my daughter but our family as if we are apart of their immediate family!
We started my daughter in the Starlettes class about a month and a half ago, and she absolutely adores Kathy and Miss Olivia. She comes home after every class dancing as a ballerina, and I love watching her grow with you. We practice a couple times a week, and she's really shining after just a few short weeks.
Your first ballet class at Rising Stars School of Baton, Tumbling and Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
