From the reviews
Riverside Ballet Arts is a wonderful studio and the teachers are superb with lots of knowledge and training. The front staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is very modern. We have been with RBA for almost 3 years now and we love it.
I started training with Glenda when I was 12. I wanted professional classical training and thats what was offered. I knew if I could build on a strong foundation of training It would be easier to become a professional dancer. It all worked out and I danced professionally with Houston Ballet and several other companies.
We thoroughly looked into other studios and this one seemed to offer the most for every type of student (just for fun-serious). My 6 year old has been in classes there for a year and a half now and I love it! They are very professional, patient and warm.
If you are truly serious about Ballet arts then this is definitely the place for you! My older sister danced with the studio from her youngest childhood years all the way up until college.
Your first ballet class at Riverside Ballet Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
