It’s time to share feedback. We’ve been attending ballet classes for 4+ years. Started at age of 2.5 and now we are 7. I saw how our daughter was growing from kid who are running chaotically regardless what teacher said till disciplining, organized and self confident ‘small balerina’. My personal respect to Mr. Brett.
I can’t say enough great things about Lena and her studio. She’s the most gracious host and is so easy to work with. The studio is always clean, tidy + the excellent sound system makes the best rental venue for our large group fitness classes and workshops.
Today I took a fabulous kickboxing workshop at Rockit Dance Studio. The workshop was amazing. The detailed technique training that Jude Lee provided was incredibly helpful. I feel confident when I take my kickboxing classes I will get a better workout and get better results.
It’s really amazing place with very talented staff. My daughters goes to the ballet since 2015 and her results are impressive. Mr. Brett is precessional. He loves his job and I’m sure he knows how to teach children ballet in order to achieve results. I recommend everyone to choose this Teacher for their children!
Your first ballet class at Rockit Music Westlake Village
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
