This was the first dance class I've ever taken, and the instructor was great at accommodating people of all different skill levels. We had a 1 hour class to learn the choreography for the song "Butter" by BTS. By the end of the class, we were able to perform the dance!
The instructor was amazing! Very attentive, patient, and great at explaining everything. She broke down each part really well and made it easy to understand. She was very knowledgeable and prepared for the entire dance. Very fun experience! Highly recommend!
If you are like me and want to learn how to do those K-pop dances and have fun, PLEASE COME TO THIS DANCE STUDIO!!! I’m 28 and a beginner at learning K-pop or any choreographed dance so I was super nervous to go for my first time but NOW I DON’T WANT TO STOP!!
I came here in November for a birthday party. Baek Eunju taught us the dance to BTS’s Butter. It was the funnest thing in the world! So I decided to return to have my own birthday party here last week.
Your first ballet class at Royal Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
