From the reviews
My daughter has been attending SA City Ballet since it’s opening, previously she attended Cibolo City Ballet (sister studio). I can’t say enough great things about the training my daughter has received and the growth she has made during her time at both CCB and SACB, under the direction of Ms. Danae.
My daughter has shown immense growth in both her ballet technique and artistry since attending SACB. This studio has given her opportunities to compete and earn scholarships for additional training along with unique opportunities to perform on stage in full length ballets such as the holiday favorite Nutcracker.
Instruction is individualized to where every student gets personalized classical ballet instruction. Intense program that turns little ballerinas into great ballerinas and dancers. And a big thank you to all the moms who support one another while spending hours at studio, we couldnt do this without you. 💗
My daughter has been dancing here for almost two years. Her love for dance has flourished, and she has grown tremendously in technique as a direct result of the passionate and high quality instruction she receives from Ms. Danae.
Your first ballet class at SA City Ballet
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
