From the reviews
Sarah is an amazing teacher. Her classes are nurturing yet structured, well thought out, and planned. My daughter is developing great classical ballet technique as well as friends. She looks forward to the recital every spring which involves learning choreography and performing on stage together with her classmates.
My girls absolutely love Sarah’s. We started at another dance studio and this has been a night and day difference. They are learning discipline, ballet skills, and have truly developed a love for ballet. Their dances are modest, skilled, and they dance to worship music.
We absolutely love Sarah's ballet classes for our family. It is a safe, nurturing, faith filled environment for our girl. She has grown in her skill and talent at a young age and she just loves her days at Sarah's. She has made friendships and looks forward to her time for recital every year.
I have several children whom have taken ballet. Sarah is by far the best teacher we've experienced. She's patient and kind, on another level. And at the end of the year my children come out having learned real ballet. she makes it as affordable as possible. And chooses modest recital outfits. Love this place.
Your first ballet class at Sarah's School of Ballet
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
