From the reviews
My daughter has been an active sassy feet dancer since age 5 she is currently in the dance company. The director, Ms. Marquita Hurd is dedicated, very strict, and enthusiastic in teaching dance techniques.
BEST DANCE STUDIO FOR YOUR LITTLE DANCER. Preface that we haven’t had every teacher yet so I’m speaking on the ones that we have classes with. First and foremost - Mrs. Marquita the direct, steals the show. This women not only TEACHES her classes, she pours her heart into each and every dancer she has.
My daughters are wrapping up their first full season, and I'm amazed at their progress. The instructors and staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to next season!
One of the best studios in the area. Always putting on a great showcase for family and friends to enjoy. Love the friendly atmosphere! If I could give a million stars I would!
Your first ballet class at Sassy Feet Dance Studio
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
