From the reviews
My daughter (5 yrs old) is currently enrolled in the ballet / tap class at the Redondo School of Dance and Music. For the past 3 years, I can see significant improvements in her posture, confidence level as well as her listening skills.
My daughter has been going to the School of Dance and Music since she was 3 (now she is 8). The teachers and staff are AMAZING!!! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The recital is in June and every kid is able to participate.
My two daughters have attended School of Dance and Music since they were 2 yrs old respectively. They are going on 11 years at the school and they have had some amazing teachers including, Kristy, Josh, and Jess (and many others). I am so proud of what beautiful dancers they have become!
As a kids teacher myself, I have really high standards and expectations for what I want my daughter to experience in her activities - positive reinforcement, loving and caring teaching, passion and enthusiasm to inspire confidence and competence - and it’s ALL here!
Your first ballet class at School of Dance and Music (PCH)
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
