“My granddaughter would not stop bugging me about dance, ever since she was little she did cheer and gymnastics,.”
From the reviews
I, personally, started at SheeKri back in the early 2000s, when the studio first opened. Now, my daughter attends the studio and absolutely loves it! So many different styles are offered here, and there are classes for adult fitness and recreation as well. We definitely feel at home with SheeKri!
My girls dance here and while I've loved watching them grow as dancers, I absolutely appreciate the diversity of the dancers! Young ladies from all over the city, different economic backgrounds, different races, and different sizes! I love that they all get a chance to show up and be counted!
Sheenah is amazing. Years ago she was our son's dance teacher when he was 6 years old. They did a dance for the fort wayne mad ants half time show. This year she is doing the choreography for our daughter's Quinceañera. So far everything looks great. She's a great dance coach.
My granddaughter would not stop bugging me about dance, ever since she was little she did cheer and gymnastics,. All she did was flip flip flip around the house until she found her founder . Sheekristyle ¡!
Your first ballet class at Sheekristyle Academy of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
