From the reviews
My daughter had been attending a music class since she was a baby. When she started being able to walk I knew I also needed to enroll her in a dance class. I enrolled her in the 18m dance class. She loved it.
We've had a wonderful experience with Small Fry. I love that they don't take it too seriously. One other dance school we tried didn't keep my child's attention. They were too repetitive and dull. At Small Fry they keep it fun and entertaining while developing skills.
We joined via our daycare and had our very first winter dance performance at the Small Fry Dance Club. The team is phenomenal! They are super nice and accommodating for our little Threenager, who loved dancing at the show!
Jana and Carlos have been amazing to our family! My oldest danced there for almost 5 years and now my son is there. He enjoys it very much!
Your first ballet class at Small Fry Dance Club
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
