From the reviews
I started a couple private lessons 5 months ago and then it turned into weekly privates and weekly group classes! I got so hooked, trying out all the diff styles of dance there! The best part for me is the staff! So encouraging!
My wife found Smooth Rhythm Dance through facebook. We wanted to get dance lessons for our wedding. We called and made an appointment. Very easy to do and they had a lot of availability. The first lesson was free. Crystal was excellent. She meet all of our needs and made it easy to learn.
My (now) wife and I attended private dance lessons with Crystal for our wedding and I must say it was a great time. Crystal is so full of energy and passion for dance. She brought me out of my shell, as I am not a dancer and was quite uncomfortable with it before attending her classes.
My husband and I had the best experience with Smooth Rhythm Dance Company. We signed up for classes so that we can have a choreographed first dance. All the time and money spent was well worth it! Crystal, our dance instructor, was absolute the best and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Your first ballet class at Smooth Rhythm Dance Company
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
