Cute little studio in historic downtown Newnan. My 5 year old daughter LOVES Ms. Cassie, who is always so sweet. At this age, her class includes story time, dress-up, instruction, and free style dance. It's perfect for her attention span and keeps her interested and excited to go to class every week!
We had our daughters 5th birthday at Steppin’ Out yesterday in Newnan. It was by far the most coordinated, well executed, and action packed party I could have possible imagined for our girl. Ashlynn was the teacher and did an incredible job directing 15 little girls around for 2 hours.
I can't believe I have not done this sooner, but my 2 oldest kids have taken classes at Steppin' Out (SOPA) for nearly 5 years (11 year old girl and 8 year old boy). They have both auditioned for several years in a row and made the Musical Theater Ensemble (MTE), acting, jazz and tap.
My daughter took the music class and we were very pleased with the content of the class as well as the instructors. We recently had a birthday party at the dance studio and we were just as pleased! They take care of everything so you can just show up and enjoy your child having fun.

What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
