From the reviews
Carrie Sterling genuinely loves her students and pours her energy into making their dance experience fun whether they want to dance recreationally or at a competitive level. Her energy and excitement are contagious and she’s just as patient with the parents as she is with the kids!
This is hands down the best studio around. This is the place you want your kids to be! My daughter is 3 and she looks forward to class every week. She talks about dance class all the time and has learned so much. She loves her teachers and is comfortable around them.
I love this studio! I have been able to team up with them for some events in the past with my photography business. As soon as my daughter was old enough to dance I signed her up. She absolutely loves it! I can't wait to see how she does in the years to come! I would recommend them to anyone :)
My daughter just started ballet at Sterling Dance a few weeks ago and we are already SO impressed! The studio offers exactly what we were looking for - the staff is serious about dance while not sacrificing fun. We love it, highly recommended for dancers of all ages!
Your first ballet class at Sterling Studio of Performing Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
