They are great! Especially with my 4 year old daughter. They have been amazing to work with whenever I’ve had a concern or issue (only issues I’ve had have been with her dance shoes or tights). The ladies have been so kind to me, and I love watching how excited my daughter gets when we are headed to dance class!
My little started dance here & preschool. She left for a few years & then returned last year. I always refer family & friends to Studio 56. The dance teachers & Amy remember the names past & present students. To me, that says a lot!
We have loved every minute at Studio 56! My daughter has not only learned dance, but kindness and service, too. They have provided many opportunities for growth and I have loved seeing the results in my daughter. The communication and organization is wonderful which makes a great experience for parents, too!
This is where our journey began! Both of my girls started their dance careers at this studio. My youngest even attended the little learners preschool prior to starting dance class. The teachers are amazing and are dedicated to giving the kids the best possible learning experience!
Your first ballet class at Studio 56 Dance Center
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
