From the reviews

This is my daughter's third season at Studio 7, where she is now a junior-level dancer. While there are many dance studios in the area, I want to share what makes Studio 7 so special based on my experience.

Really great teachers who love the kids and know how to manage a dance class. I wish we'd only signed up for classes, not the recital too. First we paid a $45 recital fee (usually goes towards renting the auditorium), then $100 for the costume (which is pretty standard).

★★★★☆ — Laura, May 2023

Highly impressed with the level of technique taught to all age groups - even for the young beginner classes. The material is presented in a fun and effective way for the kiddos to understand and retain. I feel very safe and comfortable with the way they've handled Covid social distancing- temperature checks and masks.

I can not say enough good things about Studio 7! It is everything that I wanted and was looking for in a studio. I love how tight knit it is. I love all the decor, costumes, and details. Every small detail is planned out and always so beautiful. The quality of dance instruction and instructors are amazing.

Your first ballet class at Studio 7 Dance Company

Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Ballet is for every age and every body. If you're returning from an injury or have a health concern, mention it to the teacher before class so they can offer modifications.
