From the reviews
My girls have been with Studio C for several years now and my oldest is a part of the competition team. They receive quality instruction and it shows in their dancers abilities. We love this studio and would recommend to anyone looking for lessons.
As a dedicated ballet student all through my childhood and teen years, I know what it takes to create a successful learning environment and an encouraging space for young dancers to thrive and grow within. Studio C is that place for my little daughters.
Both of my girls LOVE LOVE LOVE studio C dance and arts! My two year old asks on a regular basics to go see Mrs Christine and for her to hold her.. As a mother picking the right place or programs for my girls is sometimes stressful because i want it to be a great fit and for them to enjoy and be happy!
Studio C has been a part of our lives for four years and we have never looked back! My daughter has found her passion in tap dance, and has even made it to one of the competition teams. I owe this all to Ms. Christine and her instructors. They are kind, energetic and excited to teach their craft.
Your first ballet class at Studio C Dance and Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
