My wife and I have been taking private classes here weekly since October of 2021. We've had the pleasure of working with Masha, Magda, and the owner Alla - all three are wonderful teachers. We've also witnessed Vadim teach others and he has so much energy and a love for dance that is infectious.
We took wedding dance lessons here, and it was absolutely fantastic! Neither of us enjoys dancing, and we struggled a lot at first, but our instructor was incredibly patient and supportive. She made the lessons fun, broke everything down in a way that was easy to follow, and never made us feel awkward.
My partner and I came to Dance Studio 4 U for help choreographing our first dance, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Alla took our song and gave us several beautiful options to choose from, tailoring the choreography to our comfort level and style.
One of the greatest studios you will ever got I! Teachers are fantastic! They dedicate hours helping all of their students old and young to perfect their craft! All goes above and beyond putting her own money to rent beautiful dresses for her students. And the boys have a excellent teacher in Vadim. Strongly recommend
Your first ballet class at Studio Dance 4 U
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
