Been at this studio for a couple seasons now and honestly dont see us goin anywhere else. The teachers know what they’re doing and actually care about the kids—not just dance wise but like as people too. My kid came in kinda behind but they worked with her and now she's grown so much its crazy.
Attended the Christian Dance Company (part of the Tempe Dance Academy) performance of The Spirit of Christmas at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Are you kidding me!? This production rivaled those you would expect to see in the largest cities at the finest venues. High energy.
I wouldn’t want to send my daughter anywhere else besides Tempe Dance Academy. The owners are so professional, incredibly nice, along with all of the dance teachers. I am so blessed to have gone here when I was younger and now bring my daughter. Thank you TDA, you feel like family!
This studio is absolutely the best. The training is top notch, the shows are mind blowing, the opportunities they provide could not be better. If you want a studio that gives your child the best possible training in an amazing environment, this is the place.
Your first ballet class at Tempe Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
