I LOVE ART OF DANCE!!! Me and my family have been to may recitals and my daughter is on the competition team. She loves it. I would 100% recommend Art Of Dance to toddlers all the way to adults! I can see progress from my daughter at dance from all of the different styles, teachers, and classes.
I saw an ad on Facebook so thought I’d try them out with my just-turned 2 year old. I instantly loved the teacher, Miss Marion, but my girl was just standing in class watching the other kids, so I wasn’t sure about signing her up. I thought I’d try it for a month and see how she did.
This is such a lovely dance school! My 2.4 year old is currently taking a combo ballet & tumble class and absolutely loves it! She never wants the class to end lol. Ms. Marion is an amazing teacher. She is so patient, and provides fun & interesting dance ideas for the girls each week.
I have been through a lot of trauma in the last 6 years and I have been on the search for a dance studio near me that offered adult ballet classes.I came across The Art of Dance and attended my first class (free of course) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Your first ballet class at The Art of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
