“I love seeing the pictures of the children's classes and seeing how "fun" is incorporated in their learning experience!”
From the reviews
In the day and age when we are overloaded with electronics, unhealthy eating and overloaded schedules, sometimes what the body & mind need is just a calm environment that allows you to express yourself. Our children are contantly being pulled in many different directions and this Ballet Co.
Cassie's talent for dancing and playfulness has really made for a perfect dance teacher. She allows the kids to be themselves while exploring the world of dance. She is by far the best teacher showing patience and persistence always with a smile and laughter.
I love the vibe here and the shared enthusiasm about dance that everybody possesses. The mood is infectious and I always find myself looking forward to my next class there! Even during the coronavirus, ballet has found a way to continue safely and brighten everyone's day!
Cassie is caring and thorough with her teaching style. She incorporates goofiness, fun, and creativity with traditional learning. Kids from any background and of any age would enjoy class with her!
Your first ballet class at The Children's Ballet & Movement Co.
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
