My daughter is 6 and was previously at another studio going on 3 years until we decided to move her to the The Dance Company. I have to say this was the best decision our family made and regret we didn’t do this sooner.
This is the best studio!! We have been in 3 studios in as many years. We have hated all the moving around, one studio closed, one had no structure, and now we are here. We love it, Aria loves it. She loves her teachers, and is making some friends, and regaining her MOJO to hopefully return to competition.
TDC was once just a studio my daughter danced at but quickly became a huge part of my family! Not to mention my daughter has found her life’s passion in just the short 2 years she’s been dancing. Her technique is constantly getting stronger because the teachers push her and believe in her!
We love the Dance Company! Jillian is so talented and is such a wonderful and inspiring instructor. We have tried lots of other dance studios and we are so happy to have found this one that we love!!! My daughter is loving her classes!
Your first ballet class at The Dance Company Trinity, at Innovative Studios, LLC
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
