From the reviews
I can’t say enough good things about The Dance Complex. Arista and Zach have gone above and beyond as teachers to help my son grow so much in the past year as a dancer. We tried so many activities for my son and realized quick after starting TDC that dance is where his passion is.
We have found our studio "home." My oldest has been dancing at the studio for seven seasons going through the rec program, pre comp, and now comp. Truly kind and great instructors who love the kids with all of their hearts. Amazing quality and meeting kids on each individual level.
My son loves TDC, and so do I. The teachers and owners are talented and sweet -- great for our shy kiddo, who has been in both the boys' and the mixed groups. We will keep coming back! Oh, and boys dance free, except for registration and costumes (even if they are in a mixed group with girls).
My daughter loves it here! Everyone, at The Dance Complex, is so friendly. I always enjoy watching the competitions and recitals.
Your first ballet class at The Dance Complex
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
