What families & students say
“My girls have been dancing at TDC since they were just wee babes and we love our dance family!”
From the reviews
We absolutely loved the Me and my grown-up class at the dance method! My kiddo had so much fun and it was so great to get to participate and meet the other moms as well. We loved that they had a separate room for activities and split the time between dancing and songs and the activity room.
My daughter has been dancing here for the last six years and I can’t say enough good things about this studio. The staff are amazing… kind, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping each dancer grow. It feels like a second family to us.
My girls have been dancing at TDC since they were just wee babes and we love our dance family! They spend more time at the studio than home and love it! The Dance team has created such an amazing community for my girls. Whether you are looking to do ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop etc they have it all!
My 3 year old just started ballet/tap here and I am so impressed. The teacher is delightful and so good with the kids. The class sizes are intimate and the studio is clean and makes the kids feel comfortable. They also have bins of used shoes that newcomers can use to figure out their size before purchasing.
Your first ballet class at The Dance Connection Bend
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
