From the reviews
My niece and goddaughter have been in dance class since they were super small. I really love how the teachers have been so patient and have always treated my girls like they were their own.
The Forte School of the Arts is such an incredible place for children to excel in the arts department. They offer a wide variety of classes and all the staff that I have come in contact with is supportive and caring. The classes are extremely affordable in comparison to any alternatives.
My daughter has taken dance at this school for many years and loved it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to her! She was able to not only learn the dance techniques but also learned about how to live for Jesus. Thank you Forte for going out of your way for my daughter! Highly recommended!
Thea is an AMAZING teacher & individual, compassionate, kind, caring, truly listens and most importantly, LOVES what she does. If you are considering musical education for yourself or your child, then Forte School of Fine Arts is the school you should put on top of your list.
Your first ballet class at The Forte School of Fine Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
