Nothing but pure positive energy, love and guidance here.💕 As soon as I walked through the door, I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to dance at. From the very first day of class; I had gotten the time mixed it. I came right when the session ended because the updated time did not reflect on my confirmation email.
Such a wonderful space! The owners are so kind and talented. The space is so inclusive to black and brown dancers. I love the pictures on the wall representing the students studio. The upkeep of the studio is amazing. Weekly, I’m amazed at how clean and upkept it is. Technique is very important at this studio.
I would recommend this dance academy as it is a very encouraging and fun environment to learn different skills and discipline! The teachers are very nice and always shrive to bring the best out of their students. 10/10 and will be joining the academy this fall!
We love our dance studio! The entire team is professional and very knowledgeable! Vincent's creativity and innovations always give an amazing sparkle in the performances.
Your first ballet class at The Rahk Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
