We love this dance studio! Miss Julia is the best teacher! She’s patient, kind and so good with the kids. Our toddler daughter loves going to ballet/tap every weekend and it’s mostly due to Miss Julia. The dances they do are fun and it’s a great way to teach kids how to listen and follow instructions outside of school.
I signed my daughter up for a free trial that they were promoting on Facebook. From the moment I messaged them until an hour before the class started, they texted me about my scheduled class and answered any questions I had, which was nice because I didn't know what to expect.
Just started my 2 1/2 year old in their twinkle star class. Tiffany’s dance studio sets you up with a starter kit at no cost that is adorable and has gotten my daughter more excited than she even was. Complete with a ballerina outfit, matching ballerina bear they dance with and a carrying case for their dance shoes.
I stumbled upon the class and submitted the request for trial class. The next morning I was contacted and given the details for the trial class! We completed the trial and was enrolled onto the waitlist. Once it opened up I was given a call to enroll!
Your first ballet class at Tiffany's Dance Academy
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
