From the reviews
Time To Dance is the best dance studio. My daughter MaKenzie absolutely loves it here. Mrs Susan is the owner and also teaches my daughters class and because of her and everyone at the studio she has such a love for dance. Mrs Susan has always been a great teacher and just a great person all around.
My son has gone there since age 1 1/2 and he's now 10. It has been a place of learning, exercise, fun and acceptance. No bias against race, gender, or disability...everyone is welcomed and every dancer is appreciated for what they contribute. Every dancer has the opportunity to advance or to just dance for fun.
I recently enrolled my daughter in the ‘Beautiful Beginnings 1’ class at Time to Dance. From the moment she stepped into the studio, my daughter was captivated and thoroughly enjoyed her experience.
I have had my child at many studios and in many activities but at Time To Dance, the teachers and directors have not only assisted in boosting her physical skills, but also her self-esteem.
Your first ballet class at Time To Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
