Triangle Academy of Dance has been a dream come true for our little dancers. The dance instructors are incredibly solid and invest themselves in the growth of each and every dancer. They care for the children like family and teach with the dancer’s development at the forefront.
TAD is amazing with such class and talent. The teachers are wonderful and the owner is amazing as well, she truly has her heart in this and it shows. The dances have class and so much talent.
We have been very happy with TAD. There are great instructors, real world experiences and great productions. It had been the best experience for our family and you can tell the caliber of instruction but what our daughter has already been able to accomplish.
Triangle Academy of Dance is truly the most amazing dance studio in wake county! We have been to several and checked out a lot more before deciding on this studio. We have joined TAD since the summer 2018! We truly wish this was the dance studio of choice we have went to all along!
Your first ballet class at Triangle Academy of Dance
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
