From the reviews
Our experience with TPDC has been phenomenal. The studio warmly welcomed all three of my daughters. My oldest learned the skills to advance her to become a part of the Ignite team (out of the Lockport studio).
Where do I even begin. We started with Miss Deetra when my daughter just turned 15 months old and she was simply amazing. My daughter loves going to dance and is so inspired by her teacher. Flash forward to now and nothing has changed besides adding another child to this amazing facility.
We signed our three year old up for dance on a whim. My husband and I knew little about dance, but wanted an activity that was indoors, fun, structured, and athletic. Enrolling her turned out to be one of the best decisions we made! She absolutely loves it and asks daily when she can go see Miss Deartra.

Your first ballet class at Turning Pointe Dance Company New Lenox
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
