From the reviews
We absolutely love Tutu Performing Arts. My daughter has grown so much over the last 3 years and absolutely fallen in love with dance and performing. Ms Melissa and Ms Jayde care so much about the kids and are both truly meant to do.
Tutu Performing Arts program and instructors are absolutely amazing. My two girls have been apart Tutu Performing Arts for years. Both my girls have gained so much confidence as young ladies and dancers. They have grown so much over the years do to the guidance each instructor has given them.
My oldest daughter has been taking ballet here since she was 2 and she is now 6 years old. She loves the teachers! Her 2 year old sister couldn't wait to join her own dance class as well, and now she has. She loves it just at much. They are having so much fun and actually learning dance techniques
I am not sure why at first when you google Tutu Peformance Arts it shows up as Folsom Rd. This location is off Harding in Roseville. My daughter has been a performer here for 3 years and started with Ms. Melissa when she had just turned 2 years old.
Your first ballet class at Tutu Performing Arts
Nervous about walking into your first class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects beginners, whether your dancer is five or you're returning at fifty. Here's what to know. What to wear: comfortable clothes you can move in, with socks or bare feet; a leotard and tights are nice if you have them, but not required, and pointe shoes are years down the road — never day one. What to expect: class usually starts at the barre with slow, simple movements to warm up, then moves to the center — follow along, copy the teacher, and don't worry about getting it "right" the first time. Arrive early: come 10–15 minutes ahead to change, find a spot, and let the teacher know it's a first class so they can keep an eye out. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
